Jakarta, July 29, 2025 - PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk ("VKTR") has released its consolidated financial statements for the 1H25 period. The report shows a growth in net revenue of 1.2% YoY, from IDR 409 billion in 1H24 to IDR 414 billion in 1H25, despite the national automotive sales still showing limited improvement. Meanwhile, net profit attributable to the parent company's shareholders dropped by 68.7% YoY, from IDR 15.1 billion in 1H24 to IDR 4.7 billion in 1H25, mainly due to the limited sales of electric vehicles in the first half of this year, as most unit deliveries are scheduled to occur in the second half of 2025. Total assets grew by 11.4% YoY, reaching IDR 1,791 billion as of June 30, 2025, compared to IDR 1,609 billion as of December 31, 2024. The asset increase was primarily due to the addition of fixed assets following the completion of the factory construction in Magelang, which is expected to strengthen electric vehicle production capacity, as well as an increase in advance payments due to large orders from key customers. In line with this expansion, total liabilities rose by 38.4% YoY, to IDR 627 billion from IDR 453 billion, driven by an increase in short-term debt to support the company's working capital.
Amidst the challenging national automotive market, marked by a 9% YoY decline in vehicle sales based on Gaikindo data, VKTR succeeded in recording a 4% YoY growth in the parts manufacturing segment revenue in 1H25. This growth was driven by increased demand from key customers in the commercial vehicle segment. In the first half of 2025, VKTR received a Purchase Order (PO) for 10 units of transporters from a transportation service provider in West Java. Additionally, in 1H25, VKTR is also working on the assembly process of 80 units of Completely Knocked Down (CKD) electric buses for Transjakarta, based on orders received in the second quarter of this year. This number is an addition to the 72 other electric buses that have already been operating for Transjakarta.
In the same period, VKTR also received support from Mandiri Tunas Finance (MTF) to provide financing facilities to VKTR's customers through VKTR and its official dealers. This step is a manifestation of VKTR and MTF's commitment to expanding market reach and accelerating the adoption of low-emission vehicles in Indonesia.
In the second quarter of this year, VKTR and its subsidiaries also received several awards from national media and industry practitioners. In the field of Corporate Governance, VKTR won the Indonesia Excellence Good Corporate Governance Ethics Awards 2025 in the Automotive & Components category from Warta Ekonomi. In the realm of Business Excellence, VKTR also succeeded in receiving the title of The Best Electric Vehicle Company in Electric Vehicle Manufacturing at the Indonesia Best Electricity Awards 2025, organized by Listrik Indonesia Magazine.
This achievement was also followed by VKTR's subsidiaries, which received various awards in the first half of 2025. PT Bina Usaha Mandiri Mizusawa (BUMM) received appreciation from industry peers, including from Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia. Meanwhile, other VKTR subsidiaries, namely PT Braja Mukti Cakra (BMC) and Bakrie Autoparts (BA), also added to the list of achievements, including an award from the Minister of Environment / Head of the Indonesian Environmental Control Agency for BMC's environmental management program, as well as appreciation from Mitsubishi Motor Krama Yudha Indonesia for BA's quality control improvements.
The company will continue to focus on sustainable growth strategies in 2025. One of the main priorities is expanding market penetration through strengthening sales and marketing activities, including conducting unit trials for more potential strategic customers. This year, VKTR is also focused on fulfilling orders received since the beginning of the year, which are scheduled to be realized in the second half of 2025. The company is also focusing on optimizing operations to ensure production efficiency and drive the increase in locally assembled electric commercial vehicles with a high local content (TKDN) level.
"We believe strengthening the Company’s presence in Indonesia’s electric vehicle sector is not just a business move, but part of our commitment to delivering sustainable solutions. By remaining agile and responsive to change, we are ready to grow alongside an evolving market and pursue product diversification going forward," ujar Gilarsi W. Setijono, Direktur Utama VKTR.
