Malang, April 25, 2026 – PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (“VKTR”) officially held a handover ceremony for four electric transporter units to PT Bagong Dekaka Makmur (PO Bagong) on Saturday (25/4). This initiative marks a shared commitment to advancing a more environmentally friendly, modern, and sustainable mass transportation system in Indonesia.

This milestone marks an important step in accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in the land transportation sector, particularly in Malang and its surrounding areas. The presence of electric transporters is expected to provide an alternative mode of transport that is not only efficient, but also contributes meaningfully to improving urban air quality through reduced emissions.

VKTR’s Director and Chief Operating Officer, V. Bimo Kurniatmoko, expressed appreciation for PO Bagong’s progressive move in adopting electric vehicles for its fleets, “We appreciate PO Bagong’s commitment as one of the pioneers in adopting electric-based mass transportation.
